  • About Me
I grew up in both New Zealand (Christchurch, Canterbury) and Canada (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Since then, Philosophy has taken me to Cambridge (UK), South Bend (IN, USA), Bonn (Germany) and now Cambridge (MA, USA). This means that I can drive on either side of the road, but I'm perpetually confused about what to call the trunk/boot of a car.

When I'm not philosophizing (and sometimes when I am), I love to be outdoors running, hiking (tramping), camping, skiing etc. I have also recently taken up indoor climbing. One day, when I am better at it, I hope to dabble in some outdoor climbing too.

I also enjoy reading and have recently been on a science fiction kick. Currently obsessed with The Expanse, a series by James S. A. Corey, and Ted Chiang's collection of short stories, Exhalation.

(Below: a small selection of hiking photos taken in New Zealand, Argentina, and Italy.)
